At THAP’s 5508 Entrepreneurs Hub, we don’t have members. We have "Business Collaborators". Because everyone here is actively contributing to building economic equity and shared success. The 5508 Marketplace is a collective of for profit entrepreneurs, nonprofit founders, community driven leaders and volunteers united in rising and thriving together in and for our community.

Our mission is to equip underrepresented entrepreneurs with tools needed for idea development, business implementation, independent operations, and expansion. In our entrepreneur ecosystem, you are equipped with tools that simplify growth and give you the capability to clarify your vision, write your business plan, and reach your goals. Here, you’re not just building a business. You’re building financial independence in a community of Business Collaborators that sees you, believes in you, and grows with you.

The 5508 Marketplace located at 5508 North 50th street includes our Entrepreneur Development Hub. Our entrepreneur ecosystem allows new, startup, and growing Business Collaborators to build, grow, and scale businesses together through shared resources, strategic support, and economic opportunity.

THAP's 5508 Marketplace is looking for food trucks and table vendors to participate in our community marketplace events. This is a great opportunity to connect with local customers, build brand awareness, and grow your business alongside other Business Collaborators at THAP's 5508 Marketplace.

Food Truck Cost:

$50 per truck/per day for 5508 Marketplace Business Collaborators using a monthly EDH paid service.
$75 per truck/per day for 5508 Minority Business Community Directory Collaborators
$100 per truck/per day for Non-Members

Table Vendor Cost:

$30 per table/per day for 5508 Marketplace Business Collaborators using a monthly EDH paid service.
$50 per table/per day for 5508 Minority Business Community Directory Collaborators
$75 per table/per day for Non-Members

Food Truck Set Up Days:

Thursday and Friday leading up to the third Saturday of the month May to October 2026:
Dates: May 14-16, July 16-18, August 13-15, September 17-19, October 15-17

Family Dollar at 4902 East Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610, is located next door to THAP's "Food Truck Park"
Cars enter off Hillsborough Avenue and exit off 50th Street
THAP is not responsible for loss or theft related to daily or overnight food truck parking.
Authorized food trucks only.
Food Trucks are welcome to set up on November 28 from 10AM to 6PM for "Small Business Saturday"

1PM to 6PM Saturday ONLY - option to set up inside the air conditioned 5508 CoWorking & Collaboration Exchange building. DJ, health screenings, games, and networking will be happening in this building following our Capital Readiness Mentoring & Networking Breakfast from 10AM to Noon. (Additional cost: $30/per person)

Additional Information:

Food trucks and table vendors must have proof of compliance with applicable city and county laws.
No cooking allowed inside buildings.
Cooking must be at least 10 feet away from the building.
Table vendors must provide their own table and chairs.
All table and food truck vendors must provide their own electricity.
We are a family friendly marketplace and do not allow alcohol or smoking.

At THAP, we believe in empowering entrepreneurs, building community networks, and creating pathways for underrepresented people and underserved small businesses to rise and thrive together in an affordable marketplace.

VENDORS WANTED

The 5508 Marketplace Collaboration Exchange Event Space is a family-friendly venue available Monday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Our space includes presentation technology, internet access, a stage, and active security cameras. Event insurance is required, and events with 100 or more attendees must secure a fire watch or security company.

Rental rates start at $50 per hour, $250 for six hours, or $500 for ten hours, with time included for setup and cleanup. A $75 non-refundable reservation deposit is required and is applied toward your total if the event is not canceled or rescheduled. 5508 Marketplace Members receive discounted pricing and no reservation deposit.

START YOUR VOA PLAN

The 5508 Marketplace Virtual Office Address (VOA) plans offer a Premium VOA Plan at $79 per month and Elite Plan at $129 per month for businesses that want a stronger professional presence. The Premium VOA Plan includes your business listing in THAP's online Marketplace directory and direct link to your business website, a local 10-digit business phone number, call forwarding, and a business phone system. The Premium Plan includes the Essential VOA Plan benefits and no long term contract is required.

The Elite VOA Plan includes the Essential and Premium VOA Plans benefits plus an option to choose a local 10-digit business number or toll free number, unlimited access to the EDH coworking community during office hours, and limited scanning, shredding, and printing services.

Our $49 per month plan provides a professional East Tampa business address with no long-term contract. It includes mail receipt and notifications, lobby directory listing, business networking opportunities, meeting technology, and discounts on vendor tables, food truck parking, training, and coworking space. These virtual office solutions are ideal for startups, entrepreneurs, home-based businesses, remote teams, and companies expanding into the Tampa market.
