The 5508 Marketplace is a collective of for profit entrepreneurs, nonprofit founders, community driven leaders and volunteers united in services is a virtual and in person business development program. Our mission is to equip minority entrepreneurs with tools needed for idea development, business implementation, independent operations, and expansion.

Food trucks must provide their own truck and show proof of license and insurance in compliance with city and county laws.

No cooking allowed inside buildings.

Cooking must be at least 10 feet away from the building.

Table vendors must provide their own table and chairs.

Table vendors must provide applicable license and insurance in compliance with city and county laws.

All table and food truck vendors must provide their own electricity.

VENDORS WANTED


The 5508 Marketplace Collaboration Exchange Event Space is a family-friendly venue available Monday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Our space includes presentation technology, internet access, a stage, and active security cameras. Event insurance is required, and events with 100 or more attendees must secure a fire watch or security company.
Rental rates start at $50 per hour, $250 for six hours, or $500 for ten hours, with time included for setup and cleanup. A $75 non-refundable reservation deposit is required and is applied toward your total if the event is not canceled or rescheduled. 5508 Marketplace Members receive discounted pricing and no reservation deposit.

The 5508 Marketplace Virtual Office Address (VOA) plans offer a Premium VOA Plan at $79 per month and Elite Plan at $129 per month for businesses that want a stronger professional presence. The Premium VOA Plan includes your business listing in THAP's online Marketplace directory and direct link to your business website, a local 10-digit business phone number, call forwarding, and a business phone system. The Premium Plan includes the Essential VOA Plan benefits and no long term contract is required.
The Elite VOA Plan includes the Essential and Premium VOA Plans benefits plus an option to choose a local 10-digit business number or toll free number, unlimited access to the EDH coworking community during office hours, and limited scanning, shredding, and printing services.
Our $49 per month plan provides a professional East Tampa business address with no long-term contract. It includes mail receipt and notifications, lobby directory listing, business networking opportunities, meeting technology, and discounts on vendor tables, food truck parking, training, and coworking space. These virtual office solutions are ideal for startups, entrepreneurs, home-based businesses, remote teams, and companies expanding into the Tampa market.
