Tampa-Hillsborough Action Plan, Inc. (THAP) is a Community Economic Development organization supporting entrepreneurship, workforce development, healthcare access, and community revitalization. THAP serves as the strategic leadership and centralized anchor for its mission-driven initiatives and entities that include: The 5508 Marketplace, Synergy Health Centers, Coastal Bay Properties, Entrepreneur Development Hub, Capital Readiness Institute, and Rise & Thrive Together Community Council.

The 5508 Marketplace is the home of THAP's Entrepreneur Development Hub (EDH) and Capital Readiness Institute (CRI). The EDH provides a coworking space, podcast space, virtual office address, event space, and training space for rent daily, weekly, and monthly. At the EDH, tabletop vendors and food trucks start, launch, and grow at Marketplace events for a budget friendly cost.

The CRI provides training, coaching, and networking for underrepresented entrepreneurs to learn, structure operations for funding opportunities, grow, and cultivate sustainability while celebrating success.

The 5508 Marketplace Virtual Office Address (VOA) plans offer a Premium VOA Plan at $79 per month and Elite Plan at $129 per month for businesses that want a stronger professional presence. The Premium VOA Plan includes your business listing in THAP's online Marketplace directory and direct link to your business website, a local 10-digit business phone number, call forwarding, phone system. The Premium Plan includes the Essential VOA Plan benefits and no long term contract is required.

The Elite VOA Plan includes the Essential and Premium VOA Plans benefits plus an option to choose a local 10-digit business number or toll free number, unlimited access to the EDH CoWorking community during office hours, and limited scanning, shredding, and printing services.

Our $49 per month plan provides a professional East Tampa business address with no long-term contract. It includes mail receipt and notifications, lobby directory listing, business networking opportunities, meeting technology, and discounts on vendor tables, food truck parking, training, and coworking space. These virtual office solutions are ideal for startups, entrepreneurs, home-based businesses, remote teams, and companies expanding into the Tampa market.

The 5508 Marketplace and Collaboration Exchange Event Space is a family-friendly venue available Tuesday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Our space includes presentation technology, internet access, a stage, and active security cameras. Event insurance is required. Security, parking lot attendants, and fire watch services is at the cost of the renter. The City of Tampa Fire Marshall require Fire Watch Services for events of 100 attendees or more.

Current rental rates start at $50 per hour, $250 for six hours, or $500 for ten hours, with time included for setup and cleanup. A $75 non-refundable reservation deposit is required and is applied toward your total if the event is not canceled or rescheduled. Monthly 5508 Marketplace Members receive discounted pricing.
